The Benevolence Ministry was established to provide assistance to members of LSCAN and the community when the assistance is likely to be effective in helping the applicant on the road to a long-term solution to his or her hardships.

The ministry helps people in the realization and acknowledgment that all resources and blessings are gifts from God. Just as our salvation, our resources cannot be earned, but are a gift from God. It is also God who calls us to be good stewards of His resources. This encompasses our time, talents and treasures.

The ministry also looks for the opportunity to witness and share the gift of salvation with those who are unsaved.
